We have had such bad experience with other gallery solutions that we decided to build one ourselve. One with no boundrais and no impossibilities and easy, quick and fun to use. And here we are.

Photoblocks – Image Gallery – ($ 39,90 / $49,00 / $299,99)
We tried this one out. Bought a license (cause you can) but it had a lot of issues.
– Blocks didn’t respond properly responsive
– Updating/save didn’t work always
– Got empty white spaces in between area’s where they shouldn’t be
So, that was quite a painfull experience. We tried contacting support which took quite some time to find but finally we had contact and found out that this plugin isn’t really supported anymore and they have been taken over (or created themselves) by another company which have made a new gallery plugin which works similar. So ultimately we got our money back whiles buying that new plugin under the name ‘modula’.

And most importantly… you cannot add coloured or textblocks in between the images… Besides that, working with it is a pain in the but. I hoped that this was the gallery plugin to do it for me, but sadly it didn’t. This was the moment we decided to do it ourselves and do it better.
